Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is a highly toxic substance that is classified by the World Health Organization as a class 1 carcinogen. Aspergillus flavus often contaminates peanuts, corn, rice, and wheat and is one of the most important items for most grain products and feedstuffs.
Vomitoxin, also known as Deoxynivalenol, usually produces muscarinicin during the growth and storage of cereals (eg wheat, corn, barley, barnyard grass) for both humans and livestock. Has a very strong health hazard.
Zearalenone (ZEN) mainly contaminates corn, wheat, rice, barley, millet, and oats. With estrogen-like effects, it can cause acute and chronic poisoning of animals, cause abnormal animal reproductive function and even death, and can cause huge economic losses to livestock farms. It is one of the most important items for food inspection.
